Andreas Bücker holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge
(2001) and is Managing Director of Politicomm, advising
federations and companies on implementing EU­funded projects,
and on political communication with EU institutions. From 2001
to 2006 Andreas was head of sales and marketing at Spiral
Software Ltd, managing the client relations with major oil
companies worldwide. After a one year sabbatical as Senior Fellow
at the University of Copenhagen in 2007, Andreas was responsible
for public affairs at the German association for executives in the
chemical industry (VAA) before setting up Politicomm in 2010.
He has successfully implemented EU projects on crossborder
claims management and data protection, among others.
Andreas is CEO of the Deutsche Inkasso Akademie and Director
of Public Affairs of FENCA; in February 2016 he was appointed
Director General of the EAA (European AVM Alliance).
